When good Is good enough

Eating a nutritious meal can seem challenging when factoring in cost, time and taste the whole family will enjoy. But good nutrition doesn’t have to be hard.

Many parents and caregivers put a lot of pressure on themselves and feel that it is their responsibility to ensure their children eat a balanced diet.[1]

Yet sometimes a nutrient-dense option may also be the easiest one for a family – like a bowl of cereal. 

General Mills’ Big G Cereals – like Cheerios, Fiber One, Chex and others – are proof that a nutritious, affordable and delicious breakfast can all be found in the same bowl. 

I sat down with Amy Cohn, RD, who leads our “Benefits of Cereal” program at General Mills, to talk about Big G Cereal’s latest campaign, “Good is Good Enough” and what she believes is the greatest misconception about cereal.
